I’ve travelled

I’ve travelled all summer long

I travelled between clouds

And on rain drops

Into the wind

And the calm

Frazzled by elephants

Breathing all around me

The silence I could never find

Stomping on piano keys

Cutting this tension

With a jolt

I’ve travelled

Between pacing

And soaking up the sun

Things growing

Around me

On the other side of largo

Scatty from it all

Until a picture snapped

Truth be told…

Indeed

I had travelled

All summer long
