What happens when my mind goes
And my body is left curved like the moon
A piece of Swiss cheese
So many holes
The man asks,
Where did you come from?
A place where
The tilt
Makes the only difference
The sun shines
Or it doesn’t
Later isn’t yesterday
And now will never be tomorrow
But the present is still what it always is
You can come and
You can go
Lay down your head
Lessons learned
And never taught
All the mistakes stacked up
To create our present fate
This man,
This curious creature.
Reverting
Burying me
You see
But I cannot help
This overdraft of life
Tempting me
Take what you want
And leave the rest
I digress
Excellent.
