    1. I was just getting ready to type you something simple, and started thinking about all of the tears that have rolled away. How painful each one feels, how refreshing they can be. I looked up, and through the slats on my blinds a bright red cardinal perched itself in the perfect spot. If it had picked any other branch I might not have seen it. Like the tears it only sat for a second before being on its way.

      Anyway, there is something bigger than us out there, and I wanted to let you know that I felt it in this space with you this morning.
